Build-A-Bot Tower Defense

THIS GAME IS VERY UNFINISHED!!! THERE IS NO IN-GAME TUTORIAL SO THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE HERE!

You're being attacked by your arch-nemesis evil inventor. Build your army of robots to defeat the waves of robot minions.

How to play:

The gameplay is unfinished. You cannot lose or win, just interact with the mechanics that I had the time to implement.

When you start the game, you can move to your computer and interact with it to enter the Tower Defense screen. Here, you can place towers that you have built (you start with one tower to get you started). 

After you kill some enemies, you will see that they drop scrap onto the ground. You can click and drag it to move it around. Drop it onto the hole to collect it.

When you exit the Tower Defense screen, you will be in your workshop. Hold ALT to enter GUI mode to click on any interfaces. You can smelt scrap into bars to place into the blue receptacles. There's only one right now, the Body Crafter. When the Body Crafter has supply, you can create a Body Piece.

Bring the body piece to the Robot Crafter (the platform next to your computer) to start crafting a robot.

When you have finished crafting your bot (which only can have one component currently), you can launch it. After launching the robot, you can again go to the Tower Defense Screen to place it.

Each robot has a limited lifespan, so make sure to keep building new ones!

Survive as long as you can (forever because the game does not end)!

Core mechanic : Place towers to defend your base from waves of enemies

Secondary mechanic: The enemies drop scrap that you can collect to build new towers

Progression: The enemies get stronger as you progress, so you must use the secondary mechanic to grow stronger to survive

Controls:

Player movement: WASD + Mouse

Tower defense movement: WASD + Q/E For vertical movement

Interact/Pick up/Drop: E

Back out of Tower Defense: X

Enter GUI mode: Alt

Interact with GUIs: Left click

Drag scrap: Left click
